A Little About Our Roasting Process.....

 
Ever wonder what makes Obsessive Coffee Disorder's coffee so smooth and flavorful without all the bitterness found in most coffee?  It all comes down to how we roast.  Instead of the traditional drum roasting method, we use a process called fluid bed roasting - and we think you'll love what it brings to your cup.
 
Fluid bed roasting uses hot air to gently roast each bean.  The result is a roast that's more even and precise.  What this means for your coffee:
 
Less bitter, lower acid: 
Our roasting process removes the chaff (the skin of the coffee bean), which is the source of most of the bitterness.  Your coffee will be less bitter and less acidic, so you can enjoy your coffee all day.
 
Consistent Quality:
Each bean gets equal attention, so every sip is as good as the last.
 
Better for the Environment:
Fluid bed roasting is more energy efficient and produces fewer emissions, reducing the environmental impact of every batch.
