Fun Name. Serious Coffee.

Yes, the name gets attention. It also starts conversations.

We take an irreverent approach to mental health because we believe in the power of humor to heal. A joke can open a door that a serious question can't. Someone laughs at the name, then asks what it's about, and suddenly you're having a real conversation with a stranger at a farmers market booth. We've watched it happen more times than we can count.

Mental health touches the lives of many, including our own. We're not experts and we don't pretend to be. We're a small roastery run by two people who know what it's like, and who think the stigma stays alive partly because nobody knows how to bring it up. Humor gives people a way in. So we use it. Afraid of the Dark. The Devil Made Me Decaf. It's Complicated. Every name on the shelf is a door.

The coffee is the serious part. Air roasted, small batch, specialty grade beans, ethically sourced, roasted fresh. We take that seriously so you can just enjoy the cup.

Where Your Coffee Goes

We're a coffee company. We can't do the hard work ourselves. What we can do is fund the people who can.

Nashville Therapy Pets

They train and place therapy dogs that bring comfort and connection to people who need it most.

Happy Medium is our best seller. We put Dylan on the bag, our Golden Retriever, whom we lost to cancer in late 2024, and we send a portion of every Happy Medium sale to Nashville Therapy Pets in his honor. He was the best kind of emotional support: the kind that just sits down next to you.

Because everyone deserves a little emotional support.

Jacob's Audible

Jacob's Audible was built to support families raising autistic children, with mentorship, resources, and respite for the caregivers themselves. The support network needs its own support. A portion of every Jacob's Audible sale goes to them.
