Meet Dylan, our sweet English Cream Golden Retriever. Dylan was our happy place in a fur coat: affectionate, goofy, deeply loyal, and always ready to greet the day with a wag and a nuzzle. When we lost him to cancer in November 2024 at the age of 10, our hearts broke. But as anyone who's loved a dog knows, love doesn't disappear when they do. It lingers. It shows up in memories, in fur you still find on your clothes, and in the quiet morning moments with a good cup of coffee. To honor Dylan's memory, we've made him the new face of our Happy Medium roast - a smooth, gently balanced medium blend that, much like Dylan, is a source of everyday joy. You'll find his image on every bag going forward, and with each purchase, you'll be helping us spread some of that joy a little further.
We've partnered with Nashville Therapy Pets, a local nonprofit that certifies volunteer pet and handler teams to bring comfort and companionship to schools, hospitals, senior living centers, and more. Their work sits right at the heart of what we care about: animals, mental health, and showing up for people in small but meaningful ways.
From this day forward, a portion of every Happy Medium Roast sale will be donated to Nashville Therapy Pets. That means when you brew a cup, you're not just getting fresh, smooth, obsessively roasted coffee - you're helping support pet therapy visits for people who need a little extra light, right here in our Nashville community.
We miss our dog every day. But we're proud that Dylan's legacy can bring a little comfort to others - one bag of Happy Medium roast coffee at a time.
